The long-awaited product of the major project, to which Assoc. Prof. Dr. İlyas Akyüzoğlu, one of the faculty members of our Faculty's Department of Islamic History, contributed with various sections and articles, has finally met the readers.
This comprehensive project, led by Prof. Dr. Eyüp Baş for approximately 5 years and realized with the contributions of nearly a hundred academics, finally resulted in a 3-volume prestigious work: the siyer encyclopedia titled “The Unique Guide Hz. Muhammad and the Age of Bliss” published by the Presidency of Religious Affairs.
The work, which was published in August, was also presented to our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan at the opening ceremony of the events within the scope of the 1500th Anniversary of Mawlid-i Nabi.
The work is expected to take its place on shelves and online sales channels in a short time.
