Dr. Roger Christian Safta from Romania visited Yalova University Faculty of Theology within the scope of the “Teaching Mobility Erasmus+ Programme”
Dr. Roger Christian Safta, a faculty member from Romania's National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest - University Centre of Pitesti, visited Yalova University Faculty of Theology within the scope of the Erasmus+ Academic Staff Mobility Program and shared knowledge and experience with faculty academics.
Within the scope of the Erasmus+ Academic Staff Mobility Program, Dr. Roger Christian Safta from the National University of Science and Technology POLITEHNICA Bucharest - University Centre of Pitesti in Romania was a guest at Yalova University Faculty of Theology for one week.
Dr. Safta, who was welcomed by Faculty Erasmus Coordinator Dilek Tekin, visited Yalova University Vice-Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. Cahit Külekçi in his office on the first day of his visit. During the visit, academic cooperation opportunities between the two universities, strengthening Erasmus mobilities, and joint research projects were discussed.
Dr. Safta shared his academic experiences gained at his well-established university, founded in 1818, and his expertise in Christianity, transferring his knowledge in meetings organized with faculty academics. He also had the opportunity to closely explore Yalova's cultural richness by participating in various events organized to increase cultural interaction.
Yalova University Faculty of Theology officials stated that such international academic mobilities contribute to the faculty's international visibility and that similar collaborations will continue to increase in the future.
