Yalova University Faculty of Islamic Sciences 2024-2025 Academic Year Graduation Ceremony was held at Mehmet Okul Congress and Culture Center. Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Taner Tatar, Deputy Deans Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Yıldız and Dr. Instructor Ali İnan, as well as faculty members, students, and their families attended the ceremony.
The program started with a recitation from the Holy Quran, and after the reading of the National Anthem, Yalova University Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Bahçekapılı gave a welcome speech. In his speech, Bahçekapılı emphasized the university's goal of training qualified human resources, stating his belief that the graduating students will contribute to society with the knowledge and experience they have gained, and thanked the families for their support.
Deputy Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Esra Yıldız, in her speech, emphasized the effort and dedication shown by the students to reach this point, expressing her pride in sending them off as graduates and wished all students success in their future lives.
Following the speeches, the Graduation Special Slideshow prepared by the students was watched. Gifts were presented to the students who ranked in the faculty. Faculty valedictorian Anees Aljanabi shared his joy of graduation with the participants in his speech at the ceremony, thanking his instructors, friends, and family.
Video messages prepared by faculty members for the graduates were also presented to the participants at the ceremony. Plaques and commemorative documents were presented to the graduating students. The prayer was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pehlul Düzenli. The program then concluded with the cap-throwing ceremony.
